Laura is a British performance artist, birth doula, and ceremonialist whose work bridges theatre, storytelling, embodiment, and ritual practice. She holds a BA in Acting from the University of Manchester and has trained with influential theatre practitioners including Scott Kelman, David Glass Ensemble, and Philippe Gaulier.
She has created and toured two solo performances: 7 Veils, exploring the life and legend of Mata Hari, and The Day the Waves Came, inspired by the true story of a woman who gave birth during the tsunami that struck Indonesia on Boxing Day 2004. Through these works, Laura explores themes of transformation, resilience, and the extraordinary experiences that shape our lives.
Her creative practice continues to deepen through ongoing study of somatics with her teacher, Chelsea Canovas, including training in somatic movement, meditation, and Celtic shamanic practices.
Alongside her performance work, Laura has appeared in radio drama productions and worked as a voice-over artist for Sky TV.
